I was commissioned to create the decorative elements on the back 'reredos' wall behind the altar. You can see a photo on the banner of the Church's website, link below

I took rubbings of the churches leaded stained glass windows and took them to my studio to create the decorative elements for the wall. By using the churches windows as inspiration the designs I created were also echoed in the windows creating a sense of unity in the design elements within the church.

I sculpted the decorative elements and then cast them in separate pieces in plaster, painted gold and adhered to the wall. Scott Morgan, the architect I worked with designed the wooden frame.
