As I prepare to sculpt portrait busts of my children and grandchildren this summer, (it's been ten years since my last portraits of them - before I even thought of adding grandchildren to the gallery!) I have realized that my home and studio are full to the brim of sculptures I have loved and kept - to make room for my new portraits I have decided to sell part of my personal collection.
As a subscriber I am offering you a 24 hour preview of the sale before I announce it on social media. This link will provide you with a page of videos of each sculpture with a PDF that details the information, cost and provenance.
My Sculptor's Muse blogs will resume next month with the continued Bronze Casting Process series, and (because she is so cute) I have a photo of a "gesture" (art term for a quick rapid sketch) of my newest granddaughter that I drew in five minutes. I would have developed it further but she stretched and completely changed positions. I will be sculpting a portrait of her older sister this summer when she turns two. A perfect age to capture with a portrait bust.
Enjoy viewing the collection, and enjoy the springtime, we all have much to be thankful for.
