Dedication of "Rachel Weeping" Memorial

July 18th, 2021 9:30 Am in the Parish Hall of St Richard Catholic Church, Jackson, MS

The dedication ceremony for 8 ft figure of "Rachel Weeping" a Memorial to the Sanctity of Life will take place in the Parish Hall at St Richard Catholic Church in Jackson, MS.  The sculpture is located in the prayer garden across the street from the Church.

A lecture presented at the artist's studio to the P.E.O. women's organization.  The History of Sculpture and Politics discussed the rare gems of humorous events that happen when Sculpture and Politics mix; focusing on three events in Europe from the 19th to early 20th centuries.

A lecture exploring the history of visual arts in Christianity will be given at Northminster Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi on January 29 and at St Barnabas Episcopal Church in Tullahoma, TN on the February 27.  Using a powerpoint to display artworks from the earliest Christian times found in the catacombs up through the Baroque era, this lecture will discuss the role of art throughout the history of Christianity.

Inspired by the sculptures that adorned the majestic Gothic Cathedrals of Europe, this exhibit was created to bring a glimpse of the enduring legacy of sacred beauty from history to speak into our lives today.  The Truth, Beauty and Peace reflected in the stylistic elements of these artworks will always be relevant to every era of humanity.

Unveiling of life-size bronze Dominican Sister

Dominican Sister-A Life Given in Service will be unveiled this spring at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi as part of a commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the hospital.  The sculpture is a tribute to the Dominican Sisters who helped to start the hospital as a mission.

Tracy awarded Distinguished Art Alumni of  the Year

Tracy was awarded the Distinguished Art Alumni of the Year award at her alma mater Mississippi College this past October.

Sculpture Unveiled at United States Military Academy at West Point, New York

April 2015

The fired stoneware clay portrait bust of James Clerk Maxwell recently unveiled in the Haig Room of the Jefferson Library at the USMA.  The bust was commissioned by Col. Barry Shoop, head of the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
