GENERAL TADEUSZ KOSCIUSZKO BUST
Located in the new library, Jefferson Hall, this bust of Kosciuszko has special significance, as Thomas Jefferson and Kosciuszko were close friends. Jefferson called Kosciuszko “The truest son of liberty I have ever known.”
Colonel Gene Ressler, Department had of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at West Point, delivering remarks prior to the unveiling.
West Point graduate, three-tour Vietnam veteran and energy CEO Phil Harris, Tracy’s father. Mr. Harris’ remarks about the sculpture, the West Point connection, and the motto of Duty, Honor, and Country resonated with the assembled cadets.
